(@Dervla and Eve: some links below if you would like to collect French Speaking articles about the launch of Kantara Initiative) Même si notre SIG Francophone n'est pas très actif puis-je suggérer de préparer son transfert vers Kantara qui devrait nous offrir un cadre de discussion sur les standards pour l'identité plus large (notamment avec les communautés Dataportability, Infocard et OpenID). Est-ce que quelqu'un y est opposé ? (@Dervla : What is the process to move this SIG under Kantara Umbrella ? You could respond here in English if you prefer :-), I could try to summarize the info if needed, may Fulup could help me) Quelques liens: Generation NT: "L'Initiative Kantara transforme le paysage mondial de l'identité prenant..." http://www.generation-nt.com/initiative-kantara-transforme-paysage-mondial-identite-newswire-760471.html Le Monde Informatique: "40 grands de l'IT travailleront à l'interopérabilité des gestions d'identités" http://www.lemondeinformatique.fr/actualites/lire-40-grands-de-l-it-travailleront-a-l-interoperabilite-des-gestions-d-identites-28790.html Reseaux-Telecoms.net: "Rendre intéropérable la gestion d'identités : 40 fournisseurs s'y attellent" http://securite.reseaux-telecoms.net/actualites/lire-rendre-interoperable-la-gestion-d-identites-40-fournisseurs-s-y-attellent-20340.html Cordialement / Regards, Marc Marc Van Coillie CTO EIfEL http://www.eife-l.org/ LinkedIn : http://www.linkedin.com/in/mvancoillie/ Membership: EFQUEL, Europortfolio, HR-XML (leader of Europass WG), IEEE LTSC (RDC WG), Liberty Alliance (chair of HR-EDU SIG, member of French SIG), OpenID Europe, OpenID Foundation, Kantara ------------------------------------------------------- Support EIfEL's activities and achievements - join us! - http://www.eife-l.org/membership/ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eve Maler" To: "Russ DeVeau" Cc: Sent: Friday, June 19, 2009 3:31 AM Subject: Re: [Community] Kantara Initiative Officially Announced Today--followthe coverage > Congrats to the hyperactive comms team for doing such a great job! :) > > On Jun 18, 2009, at 2:36 PM, Russ DeVeau wrote: > >> The aggregator feature Britta mentions below is very cool -- it was >> catching stories -- in just about real-time -- from several markets >> throughout the day. Donc, je vais continuer en anglais. We would be very happy to transistion the Francophone SIG to Kantara Initiative (KI). In fact, other members have been asking if this will occur. I can confirm there is excitement with in Kantara Initiative to continue fostering language or region specific focused groups. We have already have the Japan Discussion Group which will work in Japanese. So we are happy to help the Francophone SIG transition quickly. There are two choices for the transition. The group could be come a Discussion Group (DG) or a Work Group WG). A DG is only for discussions and does not have a in-depth approval process. Your group would fill out the DG proposal and submit to the KI Leadership Council for review. The DG could be announced in the same meeting as the review. A WG has the ability to publish drafts and has a slightly more in-depth approval process. Your group would fill out the WG charter proposal. The KI Leadership Council will review for a short period of time and then hold a simple majority vote to approve the charter. The group is then approved.for operation. The charter templates are here: http://kantarainitiative.org/confluence/display/GI/Templates I'm happy to work with the Francophone SIG stakeholders to prepare the charter for DG and/or WG and then submit the charters to the Leadership Council Secretary for review. Please just let me know if you prefer a DG, WG or both and I'll help to get your charter proposal(s) started. Merci Beaucoup, Joni 2009/6/19 Marc Van Coillie > Bonjour à toutes et tous, > Hi Dervla and Eve, > > L'initiative Kantara est officiellement annoncée (voir les liens > ci-dessous). > (@Dervla and Eve: some links below if you would like to collect French > Speaking articles about the launch of Kantara Initiative) > > Même si notre SIG Francophone n'est pas très actif puis-je suggérer de > préparer son transfert vers Kantara qui devrait nous offrir un cadre de > discussion sur les standards pour l'identité plus large (notamment avec les > communautés Dataportability, Infocard et OpenID). > Est-ce que quelqu'un y est opposé ? > > (@Dervla : What is the process to move this SIG under Kantara Umbrella ? > You could respond here in English if you prefer :-), I could try to > summarize the info if needed, may Fulup could help me) > > Quelques liens: > > Generation NT: > "L'Initiative Kantara transforme le paysage mondial de l'identité > prenant..." > > http://www.generation-nt.com/initiative-kantara-transforme-paysage-mondial-identite-newswire-760471.html > > Le Monde Informatique: > "40 grands de l'IT travailleront à l'interopérabilité des gestions > d'identités" > > http://www.lemondeinformatique.fr/actualites/lire-40-grands-de-l-it-travailleront-a-l-interoperabilite-des-gestions-d-identites-28790.html > > Reseaux-Telecoms.net: > "Rendre intéropérable la gestion d'identités : 40 fournisseurs s'y > attellent" > > http://securite.reseaux-telecoms.net/actualites/lire-rendre-interoperable-la-gestion-d-identites-40-fournisseurs-s-y-attellent-20340.html > > > Cordialement / Regards, > Marc > > Marc Van Coillie > CTO > EIfEL http://www.eife-l.org/ > LinkedIn : http://www.linkedin.com/in/mvancoillie/ > Membership: EFQUEL, Europortfolio, HR-XML (leader of Europass WG), IEEE > LTSC (RDC WG), Liberty Alliance (chair of HR-EDU SIG, member of French SIG), > OpenID Europe, OpenID Foundation, Kantara > ------------------------------------------------------- > Support EIfEL's activities and achievements - join us! - > http://www.eife-l.org/membership/ > > > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eve Maler" > To: "Russ DeVeau" > Cc: > Sent: Friday, June 19, 2009 3:31 AM > Subject: Re: [Community] Kantara Initiative Officially Announced > Today--followthe coverage > > > > Congrats to the hyperactive comms team for doing such a great job! :) >> >> On Jun 18, 2009, at 2:36 PM, Russ DeVeau wrote: >> >> The aggregator feature Britta mentions below is very cool -- it was >>> catching stories -- in just about real-time -- from several markets >>> throughout the day.
