From john.fraser at mednetworld.com Fri Mar 6 06:39:52 2009 From: john.fraser at mednetworld.com (John Fraser) Date: Fri, 6 Mar 2009 08:39:52 -0600 Subject: [SIG-HIM] Cancelling today's call Message-ID: Health Identity Management Special Interest Group We are cancelling today's call, to work on the new Charter for our group. As you may recall, on the last call we had unanimous support for transitioning our group into the new organization that Liberty is putting together. Liberty Alliance is in the process of transitioning to a new umbrella organization, whose official name will be announced shortly. One of the changes is that Special Interest Groups (like our group) can transition to Work Groups in the new organization. Work Groups will be similar in scope to Liberty's existing Expert Groups, and will be able create formal output in the form of Specifications, and presumably other external deliverables such as Whitepapers. As such, Pete Palmer and I will be working with Joni at Liberty over the next two week to get a draft of a new Charter developed. We'll introduce that in the call in two weeks, so stay tuned! Thanks everyone for your continued support, JF ___________________ John Fraser, CEO MEDNETWorld.com 333 Washington Ave North, Suite 208 Minneapolis, MN 55401 US Telephone: +1 612.435.7602 Fax: +1 612.435.7601 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
